I am currently talking to my ex husband brother. I have always been attracted to him. My husband and I have been divorced for almost a year and he has actually remarried. His family is all for me being with the brother. My room mate thinks its awesome bc he makes me happy but then other friends think i need to stay away from the whole family. I mean sometimes these things just happen...what do you think??

BAD IDEA

Falling for someone close to other members of your family potentially has consequences beyond the parameters of your own relationship – any ructions or fallings out will most likely resonate through your wider family circle and might pressure those who would otherwise choose to remain neutral about your love life to feel that they have to choose sides. You should maybe take more time to act upon your feelings to allowed you to both clarify feelings and trust them to be true. Remember that probably what attracted you to your ex husband attracts you to his brother but end result maybe same too. Just a thought.

this is a very bad decison.how could you even think of starting a relationship with his brother, you used to be his sister-inlaw
what are u trying to do keep it in the family!!!
that's low, what's wrong with his brother? even if his brother has remarried,he still needs to leave you alone!!!
that's just scandalous, find someone else and leave the family alone.

how would you like it if you divorced your husband, then you find out your sister or girlfriend is seeing your ex-husband!!!

I think if it makes you truly happy, then go for it. Don't do it just because it's familiar though. Make sure the brother is ACTUALLY what you want, and not just to still be a part of things.

Jer-ry! Jer-ry! Jer-ry!

But seriously...there should be a certain standard among friends and family...don't go where they've gone. Especially if it was a SIGNIFICANT relationship. I mean, put the shoe on the other foot...how would you feel if things were reversed? Besides that, won't family gatherings be awkward?

i think that you should do what ever makes you happy. who cares what other people say. people will always have something to say. the only thing that should make this hard on you is if you and your ex husband have children. If you did it may be a little weird.

It all sounds good to me, the one person who might not like it is your ex. so I would ask him how he would feel. Tell him nothing eer happen between you and his bro, while you two ever marriade, it happened after. Then, go from there.

I think you should go for it if. I mean your not going to marry the guy, you have plenty of time to get to know him anyway. Just take things slow and watch what you do, and see what happens from there.

Definately go for it. You are not married anymore, so there is absolutely nothing stopping you. It's great that his family is all for it. Who cares what your other friends think. All that matters is what you two think. Good Luck.
