here is the right answer 1. it is in New York, a pretty famous city with celebrities that attend games 2. spike lee (a movie director) attends games and did a famous commercial with michael jordan and also was involved in several yelling feuds with reggie miller when the knicks and pacers played each other a lot in the playoffs in the 90s 3. they were very good in the 90s so they had a lot of fans 4. patrick ewing was a very popular player there 5. the team has been surrounded by a lot of controversy with fights during games and players such as latrell sprewell

I think the knicks front office is the worst they really don't have vision what they want this team to be it's like they don't have a plan just players doing what ever they want to do there drafts are the worst picks for the team that already have I think some one needs to sit down and look at the team goals

because of that dam salary cap. If the NBA were like baseball and have no salary cap then we would prolly spend the most $$$ like the Yankees do. A end to the salary cap would prolly mean more rings for the knicks
