A patient developed generalized seizures. The CAT scan revealed a single brain lesion consistent with a tumor. A biopsy of the lesison showed a cysticercus. She lives in the Unitewd States and has never been out of the country. What parasite causesd her disease? How is this disease transmitted and how might it be prevented?
