TI 84 Computer Connection issues..?

So when I connect my TI 84 to my computer it does not recognize that it is connected.. what can I do to fix this?

I do have everything installed on my computer and everything is updated.... I've used two computers and three different cords...

Make sure you have the drivers installed on your computer for the TI84. It should have come on a cd that came with the TI.
