I think that by keeping this country safe ( from any big attacks ) could possible have hurt bush's reputation as president. Many people criticize his efforts in iraq but are just as uneducated as the mainstream media in not realizing that iraq is the biggest breeding ground for people who want to commit these kinds of attacks.

Hmmm. There are a lot of problems with your argument. First, Iraq is NOT the "largest" breeding ground for terrorists. In fact, there are more that come out of Iran, Syria, Saudi, and the Palestinian ranks than come out of Iraq, proportionally. So your argument about critics and media being "uneducated" is false and reflects on your own knowledge. Also, another reflection on your own education is your claim that Bush's reputation was undermined by his efforts to stop another large scale attack. That was NOT what did it. His reputation was undermined due to the WMD issue, unauthorized wiretapping (whether you support the practice or not, it was a major contributor to his loss of credibility), continual claims that "we are winning the war" when we are obviously not as published by his own commission and findings, the classification of civil war as "sectarian violence" (let's call a spade a spade), questionable and at times abusive practices at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo under his watch as Commander in Chief, the unwillingness to consider alternatives other than his own viewpoint regarding his approach to the war, and botched policies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I am not saying that I personally agree with every point. I am not a rabid Bush-hater, but your logic used in your argument is simply not supported by historical facts and current events, nor by public sentiment.

Finally, you would receive more respect in the future if you capitalize proper nouns and run a spell-check prior to calling others "uneducated."

Good man, I watched Hannity and Colmes tonight as well. Indeed he is. Bush has done an EXCELLENT job of protecting America. The "war" could be handeled a little better (need more troops in country, and excessive carpet bombing) but whatever. We are winning and will win in the end.

Even the MOST POWERFUL MILITARY IN THE WORLD can not stop factions of religious fanatics from killing each other. We just have to maintain a level of peace and with some more time (3 years) and dedication / perseverence ( destroy the leftist media) we will reign victorious.

On a side note...This conflict would have been over years ago if it weren't for our treasones media = CNN, NYT, MSNBC, CBS, Wash post...etc etc etc ..

He is a victim of his own success. If he hadn't been successful in the '04 election people would only think he is half as bad as he is. He was successful and now everyone knows he's worthless.

I will say Bush is poor at communicating. He has done good things, but he cannot relay that message to the public.

I also think he is devisive. His low public approval is driven by his inability to bring the country together. People either love him or hate him.

He has a tough job.
