I have no idea. I'm Jewish & I wish my Christian friends Merry Christmas. I'm not offended when someone who does not know my faith wishes me Merry Christmas.

It doesn't offend me if someone wishes me well in their religion, but people aren't all Christian and still many will say it. Because I'm not Christian, i might say "Happy Holidays" or Merry Christmas"...it is a special time of giving, i hope everyone has good will ... But I'm not going to tell it to someone in any sort of religious way...if they are offended because I do not share their enthusiastic religious exchange, it's their beliefs not mine...nothing i can do to further someone else's faith. And they need not worry about how i feel about their icons. goodness is either in a person or not, just joining up doesn't make you automatically one of the "good guys". Why does it have to be only once a year

With over 80% of the population tracing their beliefs to some form of belief in God, it makes no sense. The holiday is called "Christmas", other religions have their holidays that they celebrate. We have become too politically correct!

Merry Christmas to all!

Why do you think saying it would make the world a better place?

Don't worry about it and just keep saying it if you want to. Anybody with any sense, no matter what religion will not be offended. They will know you are wishing them happy thoughts.
