I want to know when Selena died did it affect a lot of people why? How was she? when was she born and how did she die? Who killed her?when did she die?(I know how she was but not sure I need to be sure.

Yes, it did affect some people. Selena was an American Chicana (meaning her parents were of Mexican decent, but she was born in the US) woman that hit it big in the Latin music scene when it was dominated by male artists. Her native language was English, but she excelled with Spanish lyrics. She then crossed-over and and had some English hits. She was killed by "her biggest fan", the president of her fan club who happened to be stealing money from her fans.
She was only 23 years old (b. April 16, 1971 d. March 31, 1995), born in Corpus Christi, Texas. I don't know how old you are, but if you remember Aaliyah. Selena's death would be an equivalent. (Young, beautiful singers who were popular and died to young.) Here's a link for more info.

Selena died on March 31, 1995. She was killed by Yolanda Saldivar (close friend and fan club president). It affected people most because of the media and the terrible way she died, it was really sad. She was very famous in life, but when she died she became a lot more popular (I repeat...much more popular) there was too many publicity and by the present days her family still making publicity of her image. She was born on April 6, 1971 in Lake Jackson, Texas (but she was grow up in Corpus Christi) Hope this help :-)

Selena died on March 31, 1995. I think maybe some fans and her family/friends were upset. She was born on April 16, 1971. A fan murdered her when she was 23 years old. Yolanda Saldívar, the president of her fan club, killed her. :)

im not quite sure exactly what date she died but i think it was in 1995. Her jealous assistant killed her because selena found out she was stealing money from her and fired her. you can go to selena. com and that will probaly help you more

Yes, it affected a lot of young (and older) people all over the world. She was a great Tejano singer and entertainer! You should rent the movie...watch the ending especially (it shows all her fans) - it will answer your questions....(she's still missed)...

she died cuz of jelous lady that was suppossly her assisstant she shot her 1 night. watch the movie it is called selena its based on her true life but played by jennifer lopez
