My 5 coping methods:
1. Music (listening and dancing)
2. Writing (poems, journal, and sometimes even letters to God that I burn after and scatter the ashes in hope that it reaches Him)
3. Smoking
4. Making productive to do lists and keeping busy
5. Seeing a motivating movie. That hopefully has a happy ending or then I'll just be more depressed.

How about you?

I just need one, my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not only does He give me hope that everything in my life is in His hands as long as I follow Him but I also know that someday I will be with Him in Heaven for all of eternity where there will be no more pain, sin or sorrow.
I don't need to alter my brain with chemicals of any sort to cope with life since I have the real thing.

I always think of my problems; then I imagine how much worse they could be. Current world news is a good way to see others problems.

Wake up with a positive attitude. This takes some effort. Think of ways to improve yourself. In speaking or thinking try to replace the word can't with won't.
