well i usually end up on them and get asked to leave for sleeping
i swear i wasnt passed out.............

I like a bar with sofas instead of chairs, but if I were the owner, I wouldn't do that. Drunk people always spill their drinks and I wouldn't want to clean that mess.

A lot of places are doing that...coffee shops, lounges...piano bars, jazz bars...I guess it depends. If they want to keep you there drinking they're great! But if you want to dance and party...I prefer the high tables and high bar chairs.
Think is I'd be worried about how often they are cleaned and who has done what on them...LOL

Absolutely!!! I love couches, they're so comfy!!! Then you can snuggle on them and have a few drinks together. Or get really slaphappy seeing how many drunk people you can get on one couch..ahhh, good times!

well....i have appreciated them when I have stumbled across them in a bar..the downside is a the drunk who passes out on them or the couple that gets a little too freaky...but sometimes it just nice to sit somewhere comfortable and talk without screaming
