25x² - 30x + 9 = 0
5²x² - 2*3*5x + 9 = 0
(5x)² - 2*3*5x + 3² = 0
a² - 2ab + b² = (a-b)²
=>
25x² - 30x + 9 = (5x - 3)²

x = 3/5

25x^2-30+9=0
(5x-3)(5x-3)=0
5x-3=0 and 5x-3=0
+3 +3
5x=3 5x=3
x=3/5 x=3/5

You have to just kinda look at it and do a lot of factoring; try this first:
(5x-3)(5x-3) = 0
I got it the first time, by looking at the first and last terms ie how to get 25 then +9 and do the cross terms add up to the middle coefficient of x.
