Last sunday (December 10) we have sexual intercourse with my girlfriend. Can pregnancy test detect if she is pregnant or not if we use this on the third day after sexual intercourse?

no, you will have to wait until she is late for her period.

Brace yourself because it's out of your hands now. It depends on her ovulation date. A good OTC pregnancy test can usually detect the elevated hormones within a week of her next anticipated period.

Have to wait until she misses her period. Then you can take a test. A blood test at the doctor can tell you now, I'm pretty sure.

Well you have to wait till she misses her period . I understand you a scared but if you aren't ready you need to use something so that this does not happen till you are ready for a baby . You can try a test . Good Luck

No...sorry, you'll have to wait a while. By the way, sperm can live in there for up to three days, so even if she gets pregnant from this as of today, she may be in the next day or so.

No, you have to wait.

As a side question, doesn't it make more sense to spend $3 on condoms than $10 on a test, not to mention less worry?

you will probably have to wait 4-6 weeks to find out.

it's too soon...but if she does know when her period is expected then, you can get one of those "know sooner" tests...that say they can detect 5 days before your (her) missed period...
