I'd rather reply to the question Is titanium good? as an absolute moral objective.

Titanium is almost good enough.

Ti could replace aluminum or steel creating wonderfully lightweight n strong items with high durability Ti is a plentiful element. The question isn't Is titanium right for the job the question is how do you mass produce titanium cheaper than aluminum.

fascinatingly if titanium were good enough from my perspective it would suck from a jewellry perspective much the way an aluminum Brooch is less nifty than a silver one.

As long as titanium is costly enough to feel glamorous as part or airplanes n golf clubs it will be trendy as jewellry. Ti metal is fairly cheap, I'm guessing 20 or 30$ per lb, but compare that to a ton of Iron or 70 lbs of aluminum.

Titanium is as strong as steel and quite a bit lighter. It's a great material for jewelery.

It's not the most valuable metal, but it is very sturdy, and quite attractive. It would be a good choice for a jewelery piece for a man, especially if it will see a lot of wear.
(approximate value scale : between silver and gold)
