unhappy or ROCK? ok.. i'm not confident on that. If with techniques from unhappy you advise.... sluggish and style of emo... Evanescence has a lot of those, besides as rock, which include: hi like you My Immortal Your movie star lacking All that i'm residing For sweet Sacrifice Weight of the international Going lower than The Veronicas: All I have heavily damaged In yet another existence someone Wake Me Up My Chemical Romance has a lot of excellent rock songs, and so does Switchfoot.

Not really being a country fan, I could recommend a real old album that I think you would enjoy... Kinda fills in the gap... The band is Ozark Mountain Daredevils, the album is the same name as the band. Give it a listen, bet you will like it... Early seventies vintage...
