You need a flash card reader which is SD Compatible. Wal-Mart should carry them. There are many to choose from at this website: http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCategory.asp?SubCategory=69&name=Card-Readers

Anywhere ranging from 5 - 40$.

This one should do what you need it to:

Also, if you have an SD compatible camera, you can use the camera itself as the flash card reader. When you connect the camera to your PC, your PC registers the flash memory on the computer as a Disk Drive and treats it as if it were another hard disk. Then you can use any method you like to copy files to and from the flash memory, including clicking on the following: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Windows Explorer

The sensible reply is your pc does no longer respect the structure to be had at the SD playing cards.......its already been mentioned...however check out downloading direct out of your digicam. or have them transfered to a flash force or different media in an effort to down load them......Canon can have an additional motive force to be had on their internet site to manage this problem as good
