i hear jeff suppan and mark redman but is suppan close to siging with the jays? realistically is he cut out for hte AL east? hoo else can or will they try to sign

They are trying to re-up with Wells they offered him a big contract, which is good news considering how much he benefits the Jays. They also picked up a backup shortstop in John McDonald. They have made a few moves that went under the radar because of the big name guys, but the few backups and minor league signings could defiantly end up benefiting them. Thing Adam Wainwright You never know.

As far as Suppan is concerned, obviously he used to be a good pitcher, but being the Cardinals fan that I am, I will be straight forward with you and tell you he is way past his prime.

I think they are probably done as far as acquisitions this off season, but expect to maybe see Wells get traded for a pitcher or two, because his value is steadily increasing.

They signed Frank Thomas and don't need much besides bullpen help, which they can acquire in a possible trade for Vernon Wells.
