Sometimes there are different facial features between the three, sometimes I can see it in the eyes or face..but that's not always the case b/c even I get confused sometimes until they start speaking their languages. I have had some people confused me for korean b4 even though I am chinese...

I agree with others that there are other Asians...although you probably didn't mean to offend anyone, right?

Anyways, one can usually tell by the last name, but about the facial features...

I'm Japanese and people have mostly mistook me as Korean or Vietnamese (because half the people didn't know that Japan was a country...and hey, you know it!) and I personally think that Korean people are more like Japanese people, and Taiwanese people are like Vietnamese people.

I asked other Asian people how they tell each other a part, and the majority of the answer is 'you just know.' I think that's true, like I just can tell the difference between a Korean person and Chinese person, but I can't tell you how (that isn't helping, is it?)
Also, if you are usually one race, you can tell people of your race from the others. For example, I can tell most of the Japanese people amongst others, but not necessarily tell a difference between others.

I think the stereotypical facial features that Americans have, are that Chinese people have eyes that go up, Japanese people have droopy eyes...and I'm not sure about Korean people.

It really is impossible to figure out whether someone is from a specific country just by their looks (although there are some exceptions). Just ask them if you're curious...most people would not get offended (and I'm saying most, because some people who grudges about the WWII, would yell at you if you ask them whether you are so and so).

When asking the question about which country they are from, really, ask "What is your nationality?" or "What country are you from?" and you might not want to ask this way: "are you Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc..."

well...there really is no "typical" look for a certain race but some of the most consistent features of Chinese men are that they have strong jaws. They generally are around maybe 5'4"-6'. Japanese men have less defined jaws and are generally shorter. Korean men have high and prominent cheekbones and can be around 5'4"-6' also. I'm not trying to sterotype and these are my opinions from analyzing all the pictures I have provided below. All in all, Asian races look a lot alike. That's probably why they end up playing other races in movies. For example, Bobby Lee plays chinese people in the comedy series Mind of Mencia and Zhang Ziyi played a Japanese geisha in Memoirs of a Geisha. I think they're all still beautiful. And usually, I'm really good at telling what an Asian person is. I don't know why, but I'm almost always correct.

it incredibly is been an exciting situation to earnings! I even have studied Martial Arts my entire existence and am sixty two years previous and have discovered that the changes are greater cultural than actual! although regionally the chinese language contained in the Northern factors of China look taller and their eyes are nearer in visual attraction to the folk who stay in Mongolia and Tibet! The Southern chinese language look shorter and their eyes are greater equivalent to the eastern and Taiwanese! that's incredibly subjective so i think it incredibly is tremendously plenty the way something of the international sees it too! The Germans did a "racial" learn previously WWII and took facial measurements and a few of that Ido is on the industry on the information superhighway in case you google it!
