because i have a 1 GB ipod and i want more memory. is there a way to add more GBs to my ipod that i already have or do i have to buy a new ipod all together?

It is possible, but difficult and not recommended. You would have to replace the harddrive in the iPod, which will void your warranty. Such a replacement, if not done properly, could render the iPod useless. You would be better of to get a new one.

Yes! Google search,Download music to ipod,Then go to page 3,4,etc... It tells you. Good luck.
