Why do we think so much differently when we are drunk? Our mind becomes a little bit more open and we kinda start thinking about life in general. Obviously it is bad to be an alchoholic but isn't it good to get drunk once in awhile to experience thoughts that you normally don't experience?

Nawww...wish it would, though. It would give me an excuse to get drunk every night.

No...when you get drunk you may experience thoughts that you have always had deep in ur subconscious but never realized. If you truly know yourself you won't need a third party to get in touch with your inner self. While you're having this experience of "deeper" thoughts you are f***ing up your body.

That depends on if you are Drinking and Driving then all of a sudden there in the mirror are the lights from GOD "blink blink blink" and you here him screaming WAAAAOOOOO, WAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOO, Then when you stop your car he sends his angel all dressed in blue...and you stutter something like "OH GOD" or heaven forbid you might even exclaim GOD_DAMN_IT.
Or say you get so drunk that you fall down because you can't walk...so you start trying to make a deal with GOD saying "OH LORD JUST LET ME MAKE IT TO MY BED AND I PROMISE I WON'T NEVER DO THIS AGAIN" like hes bob barker on Lets Make a Deal or somebody that sales used cars.
In Summary if you think that getting drunk brings you closer to the lord in a way it does, when it brings you to your knees and you beg for forgiveness (repent) but if you just get drunk then puke then sleep it off it won't.

Jesus may have made wind but he refused to get drunk even under the most difficult circumstances. Read Matthew 27:34-48

I wouldn't know anything about religion, but alcohol messes with the chemicals in your brain. That's why you think so differently. It's the same as a drug, if not as extreme.

Not in Judeo-Christian tradition: "Wine is a mocker". "Be not drunk with wine".
