I know what you are going through. I have a friend who is just like that and sometimes it gets to the point were I just want to smack her and tell her to shut up!!! but I dont becasue we have been friends for years and besides her getting on my nerves she is a really good friend. She has always gotten on my nerves but I dealt with her for goingon 4 years now and I could have stopped talking to her back then but I didnt. Now I just ignore her and when she make crazy dumb comments or when she gets on my nerves I just ignore her and soon she got the picture that she annoying me and getting on my nerves and she stops and calm down and we go on by our way.
Good Luck

You do need to tell her. However, do it in love. Sit her down and tell her that you care about her but there are things that she is doiing and has been doing for a long time that you really can't deal with anymore. Sometimes people do things that annoy others and they really are not aware of it and if they are not told they will never make the effort to change those behaviors. Be as nice as you can and tell her. None of us are perfect but we do need to be told sometimes.

Try to think of specific things that annoy you, and determine why. If the things that annoy you are legitimately idiotic rather than simple pet peeves of yours then say something to him/her in a respectfull way. If you feel the friendship has begun to hold you back, or that you are doing all the work then don't bother addressing it at all and simply explain to them that you two have grown apart.

When you become an adult, you tend to go your own way in life. You know the old addage "to have a friend, you have to be a friend"? You could just try and be more patient with them or try telling them in a nice way the things that annoy you. If these don't work, there's always growing up and going your own way!

tell her!! i know it sounds mean but tell her next time that she does something that annoys you. A nice way would be "when you do that, it really annoys me.. and im not trying to be mean but u can get real annoying sometimes.. " and if u laugh like you're kidding, she will think that you are kidding.. so that wont help.

tell her that it is getting to be enough with her being annoying. Let her know what she needs to change, and say that you just can't take it anymore.
