Look at the last code box on this page:
http://services.google.com/searchcode2.html?accept=on#both
It includes radio buttons to select "www" or "your domain".
To get rid of the radio buttons, change the line

WWW YOUR DOMAIN NAME

to say

of course replacing YOUR DOMAIN NAME with your actual domain in the two spots.

I'm not sure this is what your looking for...

Have a look here...
http://code.google.com/

I think i know what your looking for, it's a search box that goes on your site and gives the option of searching google or searching your own web site, Google used to have it a few months ago but I can't find it now and to be honest it was kind of crap looking, it was more of a way of promoting adsense on your site than adding any real usability to your site....

if your using mysql on your webserver I think it has a feature that lets you do a site search...
