I want to own and be the manager for a Arkansas Razorback themed restaurant. I'm not sure what food I will serve, but I also want to go to the University of Arkansas. I do know that I WILL learn how to speak Spanish by that time. Thanks!

The truth is you need bookkeeping, art, and culinary arts. Take college level management classes. The art is because, people pay for atmosphere as much as the food. The bookkeeping will hold you over no matter what type of business you end up with in the future.

I'm not sure what type of classes are offered at your school, but math (due to having to figure out your finances, inventory balances), english (so you can write business letters and memos), finance classes (so you know how to apply the math you have learned into the business environment), any leadership classes (so you know how to lead your employees and talk to them so that they are happy and do a good job for you), and business classes (so you know about the business world).

SPANISH (to communicate with your kitchen help), MATH, including algebra (so you can do or at least understand the books [$]), PUBLIC SPEAKING (confidence & presence with people), ENGLISH GRAMMAR (people judge you constantly on how well you speak). SPORTS are good for teamwork, confidence, and having a "physical" presence (conveys leadership).
Be sure you want to go into the restaurant business; its ALOT of hours, extremely demanding schedule...

Perhaps your school district has a vocational prgram that offers culinary arts. Also, business/computer classes should prepare you somewhat.
