Nope. However, anybody can be offended by any word if it is used with a negative connotation. Unless it's said meanly, no.

Some English people I know hate the term Brit. They have told me this term is use because of different people living in the UK. Example Indians, non whites etc. Most white prefer to be called English not Brits.

No, I'm not offended. This is the first I have heard about this....interesting. Brit, British isn't it all the same thing?

No I think most of the British have evolved beyond that.Too bad more people didnt follow that example.
