It's not how generous a person is, no matter if they have a little or a lot. It's the fact that they give of themselves without expecting anything in return.

I know a man who is VERY generous - BUT everything he gives comes with a price tag. He brags about how he's "helping those less fortunate than him" when in fact if it wasn't for the people he's supposed to be "helping" he wouldn't have had the money in the first place (he was my in-home caretaker for a few months until we found out how low of a person he was). He tried to get my wife and I fighting until we almost tore our marriage apart - but we survived.

So anyone can be generous - the question is whether or not a price tag comes along with it....

Bill Gates money has done a great deal to help those who can't help themselves & nobody should deny that. But the billions of people who give what they can do great things too. They should be praised for their efforts as well.

Yes! But just the idea that someone gave makes them generous--no more or no less!

Being generous for me is not about amounts, is about true intentions from the heart. More generous? will be the one who is not doing it because of tax deductions.

Yes because the person is still giving away what they can give away without being too greedy
