Christmas is not an American holiday. Not all Americans are Christians. I am very proud to be an American. I am also a Christian. My ancestors came here between 1690 and 1710. As an American I care enough about my country to find out about it and not condemn other Americans just just because they don't believe like me

I remember people saying, happy holidays, 30 years ago. It's just a abbreviated way of saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. People just have to b i t c h about everything these days. And what happened to people who ( were, not was ) proud to be American? I'll tell you in one word. Bush

With all due respect, Christmas is a holiday celebrated by people in countries other than America. If you don't celebrate Christmas, that doesn't make you any less of an American (or any less proud to be one).

I was born and raised here, my great-grandmother worked very hard to make sure her grandchildren would be Americans, I love being American, and I am Pagan. I am proud to live in a country where multiple religions can work together and there is religious freedom. Think I'm stayin' right here, scooter!

I suppose to you, being proud to be American is all about being a semi-illiterate baboon.
