When I was young, after she did the tarot cards, The same woman read the tea leaves after you drank the tea. I was going overseas within the next 6 months, my wife would conceive (I told her I was married, but lied), and that I was headed for financial woes. NONE of that happened. For your own sake, don't believe it. It's a sham. They only do it because they're good at BS and for the money.

this is how I see it, it isn't so much as a true prediction of your future but more of a glimpse of the road you might chose. as with anything in life, there is more than one option, more than one path. depending on your character, your personality, you usually will chose a certain path and never glimpse at the other because most people are creatures of habit. by having your cards read, it would show the outcome of that path which would in turn allow you to actually notice the other.

so in other words, you can pretty much "read your own cards". take pen and paper, write down the problem at hand, write down any possible solutions and the possible outcomes. pay attention to the first solution you jotted down, it's the solution you'd most likely pick without even thinking. But by having all the solutions in front of you, it offers more choices.

Also remember, most readings are all pretty basic. People usually go to tarot readers when they're feeling down, lost, in trouble etc., and that's okay, there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you need a different outlook on things to help you overcome them. For example........I had my cards read a few years back. I was really feeling angry and confused in regards to the way a boyfriend broke up with me. I had no real closure to the situation and after my reading, I actually felt better. Didn't matter if it was true or not, it helped me release the anger and helped me have closure.

So it doesn't matter if it's correct or not, I wouldn't live my whole life according to it because life brings on twists and turns that we never even see coming, but it can be a useful outlet to this insane world.

I know a few psychics and most of them agree that the tarot will give you a glimpse into the future and that YOU are in control at all times to change or accept the path that's layed in front of you.As far as being a scam I will say no,my psychic medium can tell you things about you that only you thought you knew and has validated many thing by friends and family that have past.Check out her website below. I know that on more then one occasion she has read someone for free that has run into a scam artist trying to take money from someone in a desperate situation.

There are a lot of cons out there I have to say . However everyone has some form of psychic ability, it is just a matter of tapping into it and listening! I think you should listen to your feelings, especially if they have prooved you right! Tarot readers usually use the cards as a tool to enhance their natural abilities, and with the fact(my opinion I guess) that everyone has this ability, anyone could read tarot, or study and learn astrology, if your interested I would look more into it.

well i had my tarot cards read a few yrs ago and it was wrong my best friend also had her read and she got told that she was going to have a baby boy this was when she was planning on having another baby and she ended up having a baby girl which she really wanted but she would of been happy with whatever as long as the baby was healthy which she was :D then we both did this sms reading and what we both got told was true and did happen so i guess it depends who u get to do the reading. but I'm a strong believer in this sorta stuff and i also get feelings of when things are about to happen and my mother sees things and they really do end up happening. it sounds freaky but it's true and it can b a good thing

i read tarot cards and i read horoscopes.

i am generally right and i do not ask anything from my friends and aquainteces, i dont even charge.

however, in my quiet way, i generally hit the nail on the head in any matter. for example when i read tarot, i only ask for a word that concerns them. their jaw usually drops as i naill the rest of thrie concerns to the floor.

i can't do this unless there is something of validity in the cards.... i am not talented enought to pull off a scam or con. i'd need acting lessons for that!

BTW tarot cards are a meditation device and a guide....they are not suited to 'fortune' telling.

I have a good psychic who does many things. She's quite on the mark. I've been to a few others who were good as well. Once, I had a scam-artist from an advert in a tabloid. She pretended to be someone she wasn't. That cost me a wee fortune. It is better to go to someone by word-of-mouth from those who give him/her a good reference.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

They leave their predictions vague so any happening(s) could be interpreted as a fulfillment of their for-seeing.
