in the news this woman recently gave birth to siamese twins attached at the head. they can survive for a while but they will have to be separated later on. the thing is, they share a brain. the mother will basically have to chose which child she will keep. the child that survives will suffer mental defects and never be able to have a normal childhood. the mother has 3 other children. the mother was offered an abortion when the doctor discovered the defect. she obviously declined. did she do the right thing?

For her it was right, but I wouldn't have decided as she did. I don't think it's fair on the rest of her family.

i dont think its a question of doing the "right" thing. it i guess she did what is best for her.

it would have been a hard decision, and i honestly respect her soo much for not getting an abortion and being so willing to raise a child with a disability. She must be a strong woman and a very brave one.

Everything happens for a reason...u never know...the child that survives may be president someday....I feel like she did the right thing, if that was in her heart to do then so be it...we as man don't know what can happen...all she can do is pray on it and let it go....god bless them!

there is no right or wrong, it depends on the person. if you really want to know the answer to this question then put yourself in her shoes. this is one of those choices in life that seem impossible to make. but i think she was right to not get an abortion. i mean, could you live with yourself after destroying your child?

Depends on your belief system. Some belief systems say a person should live no matter how much they suffer and how poor their quality of life, and at any expense.

She did the right thing by not aborting. That decision was not her call.
