Too many people.

The more people, the more resources consumed, the more resources that have to be produced, the more strain on the earth, the lower the quality of life, the lower the ability to improve the world.

Population control is problem number one.
It's just too complicated on too many levels to maintain an infrastructure for more and more people, and were eventually going to collapse under our own weight.

Right now, were at the point where we can no longer improve the external world around us, because too many people are trying to solve the overwhelming problems in their own individual lives.

It may be that, like in the US, politicians cater to the urban areas because there are more voters there. Less densely populated part of the country are underserved.

In the US, though, we have an excellent highway network due to federal gasoline taxes and the way they are administered to the states.

The way our tax structure works here is everyone pays county, state and federal taxes.
If you live in a the city you pay taxes to the city too. Cities and counties can ask for money from the state or the federal government to do certain projects. States can also ask for federal funds.

Education comes from county, state and federal. Our Army Corp of Engineers does lots of flood control projects, all the big ones.

Just some suggestions of thing you may want to ask your politicians for. The more people who call and write your politicians, the more that attention that area will get.

Hi Anil, I want to know where have you been all your life, politicians are there to make money, not to solve your problems. Does any politician look like he wants to do anything.

At the time of election, all promises are made and local visits are done, after that life on the fast lane for them.

Politicians don't solve problems; they look into it and inform the system that enters to tackle the problem. Well they ignore most of the time because there is no mandatory or compulsory mission in their front.

The villagers themselves are to be blamed for their state of living, they dont come out of their circle and thats why they are suffering, I know lot of people who have came out of their villages and gone to higher positions in government and in private organisations too. By becoming so they have helped their village get all the facilities they dreamed it in the past

you're for sure very youthful. at the start, no one is calling all of us to "restoration all our ills" (illnesses?). What babies look to no longer understand or care approximately (as evidenced by employing their incredible loss of information, and meager turnout on the polls on election day) is that our flesh pressers make the coverage that at as quickly as impacts our on a daily basis lives. coverage for education, wellbeing care, regulation of economic markets, oversight, foreign places coverage, etc. etc. etc. while their coverage fails, all of us journey that failure. What people are crying for is coverage exchange, no longer bandaids, yet significant exchange which will furnish consequences that if no longer ALL a minimum of maximum can stay with.

selfishness greed for earning are the main reasons there is no honest politicians like the ones who are there at the time of Independence.

caste feeling, religious in-differences are another hurdle to development.

most important obstacle is poverty

now a days the politicians generally come to power to satisfy their greed, and so one's if we fulfill that by voting them they completely forget about the promises given by them before elections. we can't blame them completely because we indians believe in them very quickly.
