I recently made a purchase on ebay. I sent the money order almost two weeks ago, and the seller is saying that she hasn't got it yet. Is there anything I can do to track this down? I have the receipt. I appreciate any information you give.
Thanks.

This is the problem with EBay and money orders. These sellers know money order companies won't track a money order for 90 days. Then they may or may not put in any effort (they have their money). Unfortunately, so does the seller and you are out to both parties. If you are going to keep doing this get a PayPal account so you can keep records and get your money back if they don't send the merchandise.

You can start by going to the financial institution where you purchased the money order. They can tell you if it's already been cashed in or not. Did you send the money order with a confirmation of delivery from the post office ? If you do the post office can also track it for you.

A money Order is eentially a examine. it fairly is a examine issued via a 0.33 occasion (economic business enterprise or different bonded economic business enterprise - like Wells Fargo). circulate to the corporate and requesta reproduction of the cancelled MO, the two factors. this might supply you the info it replaced into cashed and who cashed it. even though if this is not her signature, then you certainly can get the corporate to start a hint. this might hint the examine back to show it replaced into cashed. If it replaced into cashed improperly (loss of or incorrect identity, and so forth) then you certainly may well be waiting to get the examine reversed, however I doubt it.
