How does one choose an article to report on?

Why do you choose it, What draws you to it. How do you decide on the type of report for the articles and so on.

depends on what kind of artical.

Maybe its something you stand for, something you belive, something you want to make known, something you find interesting, something you want to change, something you hate, something you love.

Choosing it is different for everyone.

I will look at as many website and newpaper that I can get my hand on to get some ideas
