I'm not accurate on this but I think they don't celebrate Christmas the way most people do or should I say the way Americans do. But I tell you, if I got to go to Egypt, I think it would take many people to literally drag me out of one of the pyramids. I have been fascinated with Ancient Egyptians since I was 3 years old and someday I would like to make my dream possible to get to Egypt and explore the pyramids and everything else the Egyptians did back in their time. I would celebrate my Christmas in a pyramid. I believe they celebrate their Christmas' by their religion and I dont' believe they do a big feast for dinner like most do. I did read once that the Egyptians today don't celebrate many holidays like we do. Don't matter to me if they celebrate or not, it's their life and they can do whatever their hearts desire for I am not a person to judge anyone. Just love Egypt and pray someday I get there. Merry Christmas to you and your family this year.

Egypt is the land of paradox.
there is no fixed answer to your question. Christmas can be as fun as it can get in some places and around some people, and can be boring like hell in some other places. it's a question of where and with who?

It's wonderful. Not as big a deal as Eed (Islam version of Xmas) but Xmas is celebrated! It is mostly celebrated by Christians there tho, but its not odd to find a Muslim celebrating it too since Islam also believes in Jesus (they just don't beleive he was the son of God)
