Do we have to get divorced in England? Are we subject to Texas divorce laws? Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks!

Simple,aslong as you have met Texas residency requirements, then youll divorce under Texas divorce laws. Otherwise if youre not residences of Texas then youll have to go back to England

Regardless to where you got married, you are two Americans living in America. So, you are subject to the Texas divorce laws.

You go to the county courthouse and file. A divorce in Texas is a divorce anywhere.
