Not all of these are over the counter drugs, but they interact badly with birth control pills, increasing the risk of pregnancy

Prescriptions medicines:
Antibiotics (for bacterial infections)
Anti-epileptic drugs
Barbituates
Rifampin and other tuberculosis medication
Some migraine medication
Some anti-anxiety medication
Some anti-histamines
Cortciosteriods, and bronchidilators

Over the counter:
Anti-fungals (for fungal/yeast infections)
Grapefruit
St Johns Wort
Laxatives - if you have diarrhea or loose stools then you need to count it as a missed pill. Same if you vomit within a few hours of taking your pill.
Cigarettes

I don't know about over the counter meds but when ur taking birth control pills i would advise you not to take infection pills if u can help it, i'm telling u this from experence i have 3 kids and 2 of them i was on birth control pills or shots but i love them the same as my first....

Pain killers etc available over the counter are generally fine. Your main worry is the herbal supplements. For example, St John's Wort (used for depression and anxiety) is known to interact with the pill. Rule of thumb: ask the pharmacist. Even if they don't know, they will know where to find reliable information to find out!

none. the only thing you have to worry about are antibiotics.
