How do I join a World of Warcraft guild?

Just bought the game, created a Paladin character. I want to join a guild. How do I do this?

Look in chat, usually a person that is recruiting for a guild will talk in General. If you want to make a guild, you need to buy a guild charter and get people to sign it(start and join your guild)

You have to be invited to join a guild. Some guilds will allow anyone to become a member, other ones will look specifically for the highest level characters; some may only be accepting certain classes at a given time.

The best way to find a guild is to stay in the Guild Recruitment channel while playing, lots of them will advertise through there. Another good thing to do is check out your realm's forum - go to:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/child-forum.html?forumId=11119&sid=1

Click on the Realm that your character is on. A lot of the time different guilds will post on the forum there, saying what kind of recruiting they're doing.

howdy! What server do you play on? I even have severe stages on some servers, so perhaps I actually have a toon on yours. i like to start clean on new servers each and all of the time while not pvp'ing,farming,raiding lol. plenty extra pleasurable than handing all my severe point toons gold to a clean character =P keep levellin'! :)
