96 suzuki esteem over 100k miles
have a stick gear, put it in reverse, and the car wouldnt move. tried to take it out of reverse, and now i cant so that either. so now my car is in reverse but wont move. and gear stuck in reverse. what could be the problem.

You gave the solution to your problem yourself. Yes, the gear box is jammed. It is to be towed and worked on by a qualified technician. Be prepared to fork over $400 for this work.

Could be as simple as ur clutch fluid being low or out to ur synchronizers or other internal parts bad. Try pushing ur car backwards or forward and see if that helps it come out of gear. Check the fluid and if thats all good sry to say it but have sum1 that knows alil more about trannys look at it.

sounds like the clutch is out of it,or the pressure plate is bad.

Could be the transmission.
