Ok so my girlfriend and I have to gift-exchange with a couple we hang out with and we really dont have any clue what to get them. They are both 20 yrs. old, not married but living together. They both work at the same place we do and are pretty much into anything. The limit we agreed on is $50 but we are willing to spend a little more. We dont have much time left to order anything online so that only gives us departement stores and such. Any ideas?

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this board game called Loaded Questions! It is the most fun we've had with a group of people and might be really fun for the four of you to play together. They have it at Target from about $20. It's in a blue box.

You'd have about $30 left so how about something for their home? I have a great Electric Skillet by Rival that I bought at Target for about that price. It has made cooking so much easier. Or maybe a George Forman grill? A Smoothie Maker? Something along those lines...

You could make them a big Movie Night Basket. Make the "basket" a big popcorn holder (I think they sell some at Bed Bath and Beyond, maybe Wal Mart and Target). Put a movie from each genre in the basket: One horror, one comedy, one drama, one action... Also put a few jumbo bags of candy, boxes of different kinds of popcorn, and some sodas. You could also put in a gift card to Blockbuster or a Movie Theater. If you have extra money or room in the basket, throw in a pair of pajama or pants for each person or a blanket for them to share while they have "movie night" together. After all of this, it should add up to right around $50, and I think it's a gift that both a guy and a girl can appreciate.

Gift cards are great. Just make sure you buy them behind a counter where no one else could have gotten to them. There is a big concern about Gift Cards this year.
Some people have gotten numbers off them and duplicted them so the card is worth nothing. It has been stated on television to buy on gift cards behind the counters not in front of the counters. Happy safe shopping.

Try Harry and David's. They have all kinds of fun stuff for entertaining, and lots of food gifts too. Here's a fun idea I gave to someone for a wedding gift but would work for Christmas too. I put together a basket with 2 wine glasses, a bottle of champagne, 2 candles, 2 napkins, 2 place-mats, a cd, stuff for making pasta, and a card that said "everything you need for a romantic evening". You can easily put it together for $50 to $60 and you can make it fun, elegant, or whatever to reflect their personalities.
