I applied to several universites in the US and Canada and got accepted to all but one of them (MIT). Which one should I go to?
I just need a second opinion.

I am in the Mechanical Engineering field.
Canada Universites: Toronto, Waterloo, UOIT, Windsor
US Universities: Rutgers, MIT, MTU, U Mich

It depends on where you live but the best engineering schools are U Mich and Waterloo, but it's really all about what you feel best doing. Congratulations on all your acceptions and I hope you do well at school.

Have you been to any of the campuses? Do you know what size of a school you want to be at? Some people prefer small classes. I think the most important thing to consider is how much your student loans are going to be. If you know you will be making a decent salary straight out of school then you don't have to worry about this. If you are not sure, you should weigh this in with your other choices.

First, Congratulations!

Think about the important things: (not necessarily in this order)

1) is it close to home? do you want to be close or far away?
2) is it expensive? are you getting a scholarship?
3) Which has the best program?

Do a pro/con list...

You seem to have your heart set on MIT, so go for it. It's a great University.
