Okay, I watched Rachael's show for the first 10 minutes when a woman comes on with a story about how she accidently set a pot on the stove a fire and Rachael busts out laughing!!!!!!! How RUDE was that??!!And she continued laughing at this! I couldn't believe it. She sure has a cool heart when it comes to compassion. Does anyone else find that wrong what she did?

Please don't judge so quickly. Many classic shows were not hits until the third or fourth season. I hope the network will give Rachael and the production team an opportunity to mature and build viewership. I enjoy Rachael Ray's bubbling personality and positive attitude. Her past cooking shows have been a delight to view by the whole family (even the repeats) and are a great example of QUALITY PROGRAMMING. After seeing her first talk show, I am happy to report that her quality and personality continue to delight and entertain our family. Her first two guests were top quality and very interesting. In her enthusiasm, she does talk quickly. But it appears that she is being herself and I hope her genuine quality will carry her through your negative comments. Check back on the show so you can see the improvements as they happen. You may change your opinion and become a fan. The grocery list followed the next day with a recipe and preparation is a great idea. Also the show offers a website to get further information. If this show isn't continued, it is a terrible loss for DECENT, QUALITY Television Programming. Rachael -- You GO, GIRL!!! I love ya!

Hi-
I understand completely where you're coming from. I saw that segment of the show too. BTW, it's getting to the point where I can't watch her more than 10 min at a time, she's so annoying.

Yes--she was wrong! She's an ignorant fool who doesn't deserve to have a talk show. She doesn't know how to act, talk without adding her 2 cents, and if the spotlight is off her for a minute she has to do something to put the attention back on her.
Yes, she was truly ignorant today, to that woman's story. The other time she was embarassingly ignorant, was when she had the Deaf student on, and was screaming at her. Before that, it was calling one of her guests a suckling pig.

When will people wise up and just stop watching her or call her on her rude, crass behavior. Oh, and she can't cook worth a damn, did I mention THAT?

The sooner she gets off the air, the better.

Rachael really, really needs to grow up and get a clue. She is almost 40 years old but she acts like a child. She is often rude to guests and today I winced watching her juvenile behavior with that woman whose kitchen caught on fire. I'm sorry, but I agree with you, it was classless, uncaring, and shows that she is totally into herself and no one else. No way was the woman laughing with her like someone here suggested. She was standing there confused, not knowing what to do or say. I really felt sorry for her. Most of the people who are defending Rachael here either didn't watch the show or need to develop some class themselves, because this behavior was just about as low as I've seen her go, and lately she's been outdoing herself just about every day. How Oprah ever thought she was talk show host material is beyond me.

Her reaction to the unfortunate kitchen fire was unbelievably appalling. As the hostess of the show, she could have atleast acted like she cared and sympathized. I'm not surprised though, because she treats her guests and audience like unimportant, second class citizens.

Rachael Ray is not star-material. She herself claims to be "mediocre", so why is it that she has 3 shows on Food Network and a talk show....not to mention books, a rag, and endorsements?

If she's satisfied with her 15 minutes of fame, could she please disappear already????

She's an annoying, classless woman, who for some unknown reason, is famous. So she can whip up some mac and cheese in 30 minutes. Who can't? People will get tired of her eventually, and she'll go away. I can't imagine what Oprah was thinking though...she was right on with Dr. Phil, but WAAAY off with RR.

I don't know if you noticed but she laughs at everything. Watch her show on the cooking network. No one else will be laughing but she will laughing up a storm. It is so annoying.

Its not like the woman said she had cancer or something. Dont get me wrong, I find rachel ray annoying as all hell, but thats not a big deal to laugh at something like that. we all do ditzy things, and we all get laughed at for them. just like we laugh when other people do ditzy things. Its really not a big deal.
