Look I believe if its good enough for a woman then its good enough for a man. I do sports so I like to look good . I find a man just as gross as a woman who doesn`t shave. I also wear sleeveless shirts in the summer so I don`t want to gross anyone out.

You are asking this question because you are not quite convinced its ok.

Women shave their legs because they wear tights and stockings. But I have never been convinced with all the other bits that get shaved. Especially the pubic region. Think Barbie and you'll see my point. For the first time last week I slept with a woman with no pubic hair and she said she did it to conform. To what i don't know. In a world where we are shaving and scenting ourselves into an inoffensive but pungent mass just keeping clean is the best option.Change your socks and underwear. Never wear the same shoes two days in a row. Dont wear trainers for everyday shoes stick to leather and natural fibres and you wont need to shave. As for grossing anyone out...tell little Miss Twinkle Toes to go sleep with Ken*

*see the Barbie reference before.

What a stupid question, im a 16 year old straight boy and i shave my armpits purely because i dont like it when i sweat, your so stereotypical. And as for my private parts, i shaved a couple of times to give it a good clean, and trim it regularly, theres nothing wrong with that.

It's a good idea... Underarm hair holds funk..

Besides how can you get the deoderant to work really good if it does not get on the skin, but sits on the hair all glumped up and nasty.. Nothing is worse than a man with a bush under his armpit, all clumpy with white deoderant balls.

Keep right on shaving dearie..

Man=hairy, woman=smooth.

Woman are attracted to men who have at least some hair. I think some woman would be put off if they saw a man without underarm hair because it's "unmanly".

But if you feel strong about clean underarms, that who cares what any of us think? Just be you. :)

Regarding what Arch said about "Men are supposed to be hairy under the armpits!!"
Um so are women otherwise the hair wouldn't grow there...... most women (including me) still get rid of it though.....
I say do what you want, athletes shave to help them be more streamlined and if other people have a problem than they do..... whatever we do in life SOMEONE will dislike it!

I started doing this about 6 months ago. Ever since then I've gone right off football, can't stop watching the Wizard of Oz (Judy is just wonderful) and I have taken to drinking Dubonnet and Lemonade. I can't see anything wrong with it. Dontcha just love Kylie!

i'm never one to judge people's shaving habits. I say what hiar you want on your body is the hair that should be on your body. As for whether shaving a certain area of your body makes you gay, I think that that is absurd, it's like saying if you eat vegtables then you are a vegatarian.
shave on

Ummm.... not sure about that one.
My first reaction is that its a bit wierd. Men are supposed to be hairy under the armpits!!
I used to date a fella who shaved his chest and pubes in the name of "sport"... but really it was vanity as he seemed to think it made his chest look bigger and his privates look longer.
The vanity of it all made him very ugly in the end.

Nothing wrong with that, especially if you have dark hair. My guy has light hair, so I don't have to worry about his body hair looking too yucky. Anyway, I think shaving is a totally ok thing to do and I'd encourage more guys to do it. Nothing wrong with caring about how you look.
