Maybe we are all aliens on earth!
This could be a probable scenario how we came to live on earth.
Our planet earth started out as a penal institution of the universe!
The reason is the following. What can you do with people who have committed a crime in an advanced civilization?
You can certainly not kill them, it would be too barbarian. So you round them up and also pick up those from your neighboring planets and put them all on an inhabited planet. Each group in a different continent. Living conditions may be hard at first -fighting dinosaurs and wild beasts- but can be improved with effort.
This scenario would explain many things. Like the belief of being cast out of "heaven" , the many different colors and races that we have on earth, the many languages spoken, etc..
It also provides an explanation for the violent and criminal mentality of some people. Bad genes resurfacing!
What is also amazing is the amount of knowledge that ancient civilizations had. Medicine, architecture, astronomy. This could have it's origin in the advanced knowledge that their ancestors possessed when they were seeded on earth.
In a few hundred years we will also be sending our inmates together with those of other federated planets to some distant unhabited planet etc..

Just because we don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There is a book that talks about "Creation Myths" in which an anthropologist walking along the shore finds a jellyfish and asks it about it's creation story. How did life come about for all jellyfish, and the jellyfish responds we have always been here, and everything in the ocean exists in order for us to survive. The anthropologist then asks, but what about all that out there, pointing to the sand. To which the jellyfish responds, oh, that is nothing, there is nothing out there. That dry stuff exists to contain the water and make sure it doesn't spread about, for we would die without the water.

Is there no life out there? Well, we know there is...we are life beyond the sand. So, is there life out there beyond the stars...yes, we just don't know life beyond the stars. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Sure! I think it is rediculous to think we are the only form of life in the entire universe. The most common held belief by scientists is that there wouldn't be any life on our planet had it not been for comets and meteors and stuff crashing into our world, so to think that we are the only planet this has happened to I personally think is unreasonable. I completely agree with you. Thanks!

Yes, I agree with you...I do believe that there are other life forms, maybe in a universe beyond our own. The concept of life elsewhere is not only feasible, but probable.

DNA has even been found in space. It's not alive, and no one is claiming that, but it shows that the double helix is common. Of course there is life somewhere.

Scary and interesting idea - that we aren't the only ones.
It's possible, I can't know for sure, I will probably never know for sure, but it is possible. ....
