Try Berlitz. They hire only native speakers and I have heard that it is a good job.
Contact colleges and universities as well. Do you have a degree? You cannot get a job at a school without one, but you can work at Berlitz without a degree. They train you and give you guidelines to follow.

Don't know but I'd start by contacting local colleges and private night schools - i.e., go where people would be learning languages. Someone has to be teaching there, so that's the kind of places which would be hiring.

dude the city isn't doable on a instructor's revenue, no longer contained in the factors you opt for to stay...additionally the canines are a super concern whilst renting in nyc...i moved right here from chicago approximately 7 or 8 yrs in the past and located brooklyn to be plenty greater value-effective and greater similar to midwestern existence...look in park slope, fortress greene, purple hook, prospect park, willamsburg (2 prepare stops out of the village) or windsor terrace...there are lots of coaching jobs available and brooklyn is canines friendly...maximum bars and eating places have a "carry your canines" nite...good luck...
