Swept Away is an awesome all inclusive resort. The food is wonderful and you can drink anything and as much as you want, including premium drinks. You can sail, kayak, snorkel, borrow bikes and take a short ride into town (Negril). We loved it as much the 2nd time as we did the 1st time. Check it out. Also, you're not allowed to tip.

Runaway Bay on the north coast of Jamaica about 1 1/2 hours west of the airport -- so there are no planes constantly overhead as with some resorts.
I had a great time at a resort called Breezes.

My wife and I got married at Sandals Ocho Rios a couple of years ago. It was very stress free. You can get your wedding free there if you stay there long enough, like 5 days.
If you are thinking Jamaica then I think the choice is definitely Sandals, not Breezes which is a different brand name for some Sandals. However, Breezes resorts allow children, Sandals are couples only.
I would recommend the Sandals Negril or Sandals Dunn's River, these are fantastic places to spend our honeymoon.

I highly highly recommend Sandals. My husband and I were married at Sandals on the Island of St. Lucia. Are you REALLY attached to Jamaica, or would you consider others as well? Check out Sandals.com
Now, the other question though. Are you traveling with family? Sandlas will not allow non couples to stay at the resort. They would be allowed a few hour pass only, just enough time to see you get married, then they would have to leave.

Really, the FIRST thing you should do is find a good travel agent, specifically one who specializes in honeymoon travel and destination weddings. Ask them if they personally go visit the resorts too, so you are absolutely sure about what to expect and don't have any surprises! And keep looking until you find one that does personally visit the resort locations they are representing. The help of an experienced, knowledgeable travel agent would take a lot of the stress out of planning.

My family and I stayed at the sunspree in montego bay. Was not the nicest of places but beach was nice and they even had there own man made island that you can walk out to and hang out on. They do have alot of activities going on and such. The food was good for the most part, and the red stripe was cold. Its alot cheeper then sandles but if your not used to places like that then this place is just fine. There were alot of little kids around though. If you have alot of money to spend the place to stay is right next door at Half Moon Bay, its were all the celebs stay when they go to Jamaica.

My wife and I are about to go to Sandals Whitehouse for our honeymoon. Although I have never been there before I hear it is wonderful. It is also one of the newest Sandals resorts. I do believe it was just completed in April of 2006.
