At current form he has come to be regarded as a burden on the team. But looking at the potential, he can be a match winner in the WC. He should consider his retirement after looking at his performance in the WC.
I amsure that Sachin would sort out his problems and the countrymen would spare him from undue pressure which he is feeling right now and which is affecting his performance.

Why everyone is after Sachin and seek his retirement. Every player goes through a bad phase. Sachin's performance in the past had been exceptional and that is the reason, no one is able to accept this performance from him. Let me assure you and see for yourself on ESPN Starsports, Sachin scoring at least two centuries in this test series. He will bounce back and silent all his critics. He has not given any statement and his willow will speak for him. What would you say after he scores two centuries, should he retire?

he shld hve retired after world cup 2003. the only game where he needed to play well was the final. and he as usual never plays well in a crucial match.even harbhajan singh can score centuries against bangladesh and england all the time and feel very happy with himself. if ponting plays as many matches as sachin he wld score double the runs. along wit sachin i think the whole indian team shld retire cuz theyve forgotten how to play cricket. instead of hiring an australian coach they need some australian players!

It is better to retire now itself. Selfish players like Sachin is really unfit to play in a big series like world cup.

He should retire only after the next World Cup Cricket Tournament as because of his age.But still the opponent worries from him.And that is one of the factor for which he should be in the team till next WCCT.

Sachin is ripe for retirment. Yes he must retire, and perhaps open a private cricket club for youngsters to train them for TEAM INDIA in the year 2015. Untill that period, they should instead play football.

Sachin should retire is not the question......He has to retire because after the worldcup he will be of 35 years of age which is the ideal age to go into retirement.
