10 karat gold is the least pure form of gold (10/24 gold) that can be sold as gold--meaning 9 karats can't be called gold. topaz is a pretty nice stone, but the band quality isn't the best.

10k isn't as expensive as 14k or 24k. The other two are beautiful, no doubt. But if you wear your rings all the time, then go with 10k. They will hold up much better because they are not as soft as the other karats. Topaz comes in yellow and blue. Both are beautiful. I have a blue topaz 10k ring that I got from Sears. It's an absolutely beautiful ring.

It's pretty good . 10 karat has the least amount of pure gold but it is still real gold. Probably the topaz is not real (simulated) as real ones are expensive and it would be set in a higher karat gold. Most people could tell the difference unless they had it appraised.

working with gems ,i would not recommend you a ring like that ,probably its like a cheap ring ,and would look tacky!
