No. You should go to the schoolboard and tell them what an irresponsible principal you have. She shouldn't be principal. Her job is to ensure the students get education and she failed to do her job. If the teacher gave notification or not it doesn't really matter. She is responsible for knowing that. You shouldn't have had to buzz the office because she should have been responsible enough to get a substitute and futhermore i'd tell her that. Ive been suspended many times before for saying what i think and now that principal won't even mess with me! Tell her what you think! Don't be nice either! It doesn't matter what you say or how you say it either way you'll get in trouble but it will be worth it! - By the wy what's your principals name?

Hmmm....
So Ryan says, "Don't go to the office and tell" and they don't.
But they are quick to turn on you aren't they..... oooooooohhhh
I see a young man that some kids look up to, but others think is a joke. Yeh, we'll follow Ryan when it suits us, because he's gonna be the one getting in trouble, not us!!!
Isn't that funny!!!
The principal can't suspend you for some stupid thing..... unless you did the stupid thing.... which makes you kinda???? what is that word???
The Principal can't hold you back, without reason, and you are giving her lots of reasons from the sound of it.
Kinda makes you ????? sheesh what is that word?
Now you got the whole world laughing at you.... not with you.....at you.
Maybe its time to wise up a bit huh?

Whatever is done should be done by your mom or dad. Anything you say will not be heard. As far as you guys not having a teacher, That isn't your fault. Put blame where blame should be.
I always told my son to read his student handbook. Know it from cover to cover & let it help you in your quest.
I'll say this much, until you stop doing what got you in hot water with the principal in the first place your life will be hell.

Your right...the others didn't have to listen to you and they did. The whole class is and should be responsible for not letting the office know. If you feel that your teacher hates you then maybe you should take it up with your parents first and then they can go from there. Who knows maybe you can get switched to another class if your parents believe your education is at risk...Good luck!

I don't think it's right for her to put all the blame on you because you're right, they didn't have to listen to you. But maybe there is more to the story. Sit down and have a talk with your parents about what's goin on and let them handle it. If that's all there is to the story I'm sure they can get something done about it.

You need to focus on your schoolwork and growing up a bit, vs. spending your time on Yahoo Answers asking pointless questions and giving pointless answers. Really. Make something of yourself.

It seams to me that the pricipal screwed up by not having a teacher in your class and does'nt want to put the blame on herself, so she put the blame on you, the one whom she dislikes the most.

even if the principal doesn't like you, there's no substantial evidence that you can show the board of education.
