About 400 miles. Huntington Beach is near Disneyland, and Emeryville is just across the bay from San Francisco.
Options are - drive 6 1/2 - 7 hours up 405 then 5 then 580 to Emeryville.
2) Take jetBlue from Long Beach to Oakland (or Southwest from Orange Co to Oakland)
3) Take Amtrak from Fullerton to Emeryville ...
Good luck

There you go. Check out my link for directions. MapQuest says it's 411.38 miles. Now, you didn't give any exact addresses, so the directions probably originiate from the town square of each city. Still, this is probably very close.
