I have a friend who lost her job, in turn she had to put in a claim to receive unemployment. Now that she is enrolled she's wanting to attend college full time, so that she may go ahead and finish college, but she's not sure if she can do that and receive unemployment at the same time.

technically no.

That's not to say she can't attend school anyways and still collect.
So long as she is abiding by the state unemployment guidelines she should be fine. In WI it means applying to 2 jobs a week, so if she does that and is in school then there shouldn't be a problem. However in this state it also means you can't refuse work if offered.

No you can't.
Disqualifications are:
* Quit without good cause
* Fired for misconduct
* Resigned because of illness (check on disability benefits)
* Left to get married
* Self-employed
* Involved in a labor dispute
* Attending School

Though, you may be able to get by somehow, I've seen people do it.
