I just got a job offer today that pays in the high six figures. I thought people people would be happy for me, but when i told people all I got was jealousy and hate. I see my self as quite a humble person, I have been poor and even homeless at points in my lfe and this means alot to me. Why can't people be happy for me and stop being mad just because of how much money I make. I dont care if I make more money than other people, i just feel good because I've worked hard. The is the crowing victory in my life, from sleeping on the street to financial security.... I just wish people could be happy for me like I was for them when things went their way.

People tend to look past your accomplishments and see instead what you've got that they don't have. They aren't angry at you, but instead they're angry and themselves - and who else to blame and get angry at except for the person who surpassed them? It's all in their own heads, this conceitedness.

Well if this helps Cogratulations on your new job & I wish you much success. The reason why some are not happy is probably jealousy but I'm happy for you & I have a reason to be jealous I make 13 grand a year. Just remember who your true friends are & you'll be fine

People are going to hate thats just life. Your job is to take care of you and yours, FORGET THE REST. There are two ways to find out how real your friends and family are towards you. #1 Find out how much they think of you when they are drunk. #2 Start making money and see how they act. Its a shame but is true. Be happy, because some one has to hate. It might as well be the fake ones in your life. Now you know who your friends are. THE REAL ONES.

When people know that you can't depend on them anymore they get all mad because they were so use to using you when you was poor, but now they can't use you anymore. Well that's if you let them...

They should, other wise there not true friends .If you remain the same selfless person you always was,they should love you just the same through thick and thin
