I have a cute, black shirt dress that I want to wear for Christmas. But it's going to be cold, so what kind of tights should I wear. I don't want plain black because that's boring.

It's too gold for 3/4 length tights, also a shirt dress is NOT denim. It's cotton.

try a pattern! Nordstroms/Macy's have patterns.. like checks/stripes/argyle... it kinda breaks up the outfit.. very cute, when worn right! They would look great with a black dress

Well Any darker color would be cool with the black shirt dress. Teal or a dark purple would rock. It would be different and really awesome. I would wear 3/4 leggings or ankle ones. I have a red and white stiped shirt dress I wear with 3/4 gray leggings, even if it is cold because it looks cute. Good Luck.

A short one would definately look better. But if you are a tall girl then it might work. 5"8! Wear it w/out the tights see how it looks, put a big belt on w/it and heels are hot!

I think white or red would be really cute...or there are stripes...but no skulls b/c it's Christmas..derr! But um, look in some fashion magazines 4 info on that...someone's always tryin somethin new!
Who no's u could start a new trend!!!
Ps...try some flats or pumps that match the tights!!

If your talking about a jean short skirt then I recomend you wear black 3/4 tights. They can be brought from just about anywhere.

If i were you, i would go out and find a pair of tights that have a cool design or are christmas themed. they have some crazy ones now

depends what color and material the dress is!! but if its like blue jean i would get like some lepord print tights and some black flats!! totally fetch!!

well, since its for Christmas, I would go for red tights. It would be really cool if you found a pair that was both green and red. but i think that would be a really hard search, so just go for red.
