yea some blind people can see shadows and stuff.. and their other senses become more sensitive

Blind people become very adaptable to there surroundings. A great deal of training is required to succeed but many of them do quite well. They do of course face many obstacles that can hold them back. The biggest one being people prejudious. Today technology advancement & the availaibility of seeing eye dogs, the blind can achieve almost what ever they want to do.

is the optimum usages of other senses: hearing, touching, smelling, tasting, and the ability to anticipate movements

when you lose one of your senses, the others are heightened. for example, close your eyes and walk through your house/apartment, can you find your way around without opening your eyes? you become accustomed to your surroundings and can find your way around. it is only logical. also, they use their hearing a lot more than the rest of us do in order to navigate. i hope this helps you. blessed be

mabe if they had gaurd dog and sometimes they have signs on hotel rooms .
