Due to the water leakage, I used the plastic tape to temporaily seal the leakage (tape both on the car body area and the backlight plastic area), when I removed the tape, the tape wasnt able to be pull out. There are disgusting plastic marks left on the car (both on the car body and the backlight plastic). How would I remove those marks? Please advice. (repost for giving u more details)

The best and cheapest product i have found and used is rubbing alcohol. The reason i say best is cause most common households have some laying around. Many may laugh but if u dont have rubbing alcohol laying maybe u have drinking alcohol. The benefit of drinking versus rubbing is u can make urself a drink in the process of working.

Usually a little bit of WD-40 on a cloth will wipe tape residue away.

Maybe a little heat first to soften things up from a hair dryer, then the WD 40 or mineral spirits, or whatever. A little pealing, a little rubbing, patience and you should get it.
